🚨New TradeCoreans alert!🚨 Not only are we getting older (we recently celebrated our 7th birthday), we’re getting bigger too. 💪 We love that our talent pool is growing at a fast rate, with even more passionate and skilled individuals making their mark with us. Here are a few of our new hires, at least those who are not camera shy. 😉 Welcome to the family! 💙
Instead of our usual Halloween office party, this year we sent cute trick-or-treat fun packs to our colleagues' kids at home. 🎃 Each child received a pumpkin to carve, candle, and of course, lots of their favourite sweets 🍭or delicious baby food for the youngest ones, yum! 👶 Just because we’re away from the office, it doesn’t mean our love for celebrating stops. 🎉 We always like to look forward to something and have the opportunity to share fun moments and create memories with our families and colleagues. 👨👨👧
We really enjoy sharing knowledge amongst ourselves, and so we recently decided to launch TradeCore Tech Talks! Tech Talks are short, once a month sessions (30 - 60 minutes) where TradeCore employees discuss a number of exciting topics, such as: - Solving complex problems 🤔 - Experimenting with new technologies 💻 - Case studies 📃 - Management & business 📚 - Hobbies/building/inventions 💡 - Personal accounts about surviving hard times or events ⛈ - Any other experiences or knowledge where others can gain value 🎁 Our first session was led by our Lead Software Engineer Miroslav Lazović, who spoke about dealing with technical debt using several approaches and long-term strategies. Throwback to last month’s Belgrade Business Run enjoying the last rays of the summer sun 🌞 Although some of us prefer walking 🚶♂️ and cycling 🚴♂️to running 🏃♀️, we’re happy to be on point when it comes to being more active 💪 Our company Runner’s Club meets regularly twice a week to improve their game for the next competitive runs 😉 Serbia Business Run may be behind us for now, but what we’ve learned from exercising together is that we’re not only stronger as individuals, but our team spirit is brighter than ever 🌞
TicTrac healthy lunch for hardworking steppers 🚶 This year, we began to use Tictrac - a health platform that’s motivated us to take better care of our wellbeing, happiness, and productivity. 📱 Our first goal was to launch a one-week “Autumn Equinox team walk-off” challenge to get out of our home offices, invigorate our bodies, and soak up some much-needed Vitamin D. ☀ Divided into two teams, “Morning Steppers” and “Afternoon Striders”, we gave it our all to be the most awesome and super sporty. Oh, and to win a tasty (but healthy) team lunch. 🍽 Alas, it looks like we’re not really morning people. 💤 The team with the highest average step-count was the Afternoon Striders, who got to enjoy a great meal and each other’s company after a long time apart. 🤗 It was a fantastic occasion to connect, relax, chat, and laugh between work and everything else. 🍻 We’re eager for the next challenge and look forward to more rewards for staying healthy! 😊
Wow! We’re 7 years old already! Happy birthday to us! Time flies when you enjoy what you do. We count ourselves lucky for having celebrated several milestones so far — new clients, new colleagues, next-level goals. Every year has been special for its own reasons. This year, along with the entire world, we had to celebrate our birthday a little differently. Our alfresco party was just the ticket! Physically-distanced, but definitely not socially, and no less fun than before! We also handed out our new TC 2020 MVP awards and celebrated our teammates for their individual wins, which came as an additional birthday surprise. Talking about what we want to accomplish for the next year, we decided that every day should be a cause for celebration while we continue to aim ToTheMoon! It’s the small, consistent wins that count.
