It was a pleasure hosting Network Partners’ Packaging Engineering Apprentices at our Grand Rapids facility! UFP’s Kacie Wilcox and David Duff provided a technical seminar on medical packaging solutions utilizing highly specialized foams and films followed by a tour of our production plant. The Packaging Engineer Apprentice program teaches the fundamentals of medical and pharmaceutical packaging in an accelerated format to bring early career packaging engineers to a significantly more advanced level.
Congratulations to our Rancho Dominguez, CA facility for winning UFP’s 2019 Workplace Safety Award! This award is given to the UFP plant with the lowest OSHA incident rate while promoting a culture of safety with all employees. UFP Technologies partnered with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DFC) this holiday season to provide gifts for children within the foster care system. Thank you to our employees who bought gifts for over 60 children! Since 2002, UFP has participated in this gift giving tradition and has made the holidays more cheerful for hundreds of DFC children.
