Health Equity in Vision Care Everyone deserves to see their full potential. That’s why health equity is vital. Health equity means that everyone can achieve their best health. Inequities in healthcare can negatively impact length and quality of life in specific communities. To help advance equity in eye care, we’ve partnered with Black EyeCare Perspective, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to redefining the color of the eye care industry 1% at a time, to support health equity through increased diversity. We’re committed to supporting the 13% Promise and ensuring a future where the percentage of Black eye doctors matches their representation in the current U.S. population.
