The VPP Practice Manager Academy: Fostering Leadership and Building Community Over two consecutive weeks, the VPP Practice Manager Academy brought together 100 veterinary practice managers from across the country, spanning sessions in Dallas and Charlotte. The purpose of this academy is not only to introduce or reinforce essential skills and knowledge but also to help cultivate a solid and supportive community of leaders within our organization. The first iteration of VPP Practice Manager Academy was a gigantic success, thanks to the commitment and hard work of everyone involved. This represents a first step in our journey as a community to blaze a trail in the #VetMed industry as we all work together to be the change we want to see.

We are so excited to host VPP's first Practice Manager Leadership Academy! This week we're in Dallas, TX with our west region practice managers. Day one's program focused on leadership skills, effective communication styles, and, most importantly, building a strong hospital culture and positive environment! The VPP Operations team, Human Resource team, and CEO converged in Ann Arbor, MI to conduct training and strategic planning on supporting our partner hospital teams. They participated in team-building activities like "fowling" (football bowling) and a trip to The Big House, the home stadium of the University of Michigan. We are proud of our team's drive to learn and grow in all the best ways.
