Hear her: "I joined Wave at a time in my life when I really needed to take on a new challenge. Upon joining the company, I immediately felt a sense of ‘freshness,’ which created a sense of comfort and a healthy environment where everyone was at ease. I joined Wave as a Customer Support Representative in the Back Office. This role has allowed me to put my communication skills, passion, and energy at the disposal of our customers, offering them the best experience possible. I have since grown into a Quality and Training Officer role, thanks to my experience in the SN Support team and from managers who believed in my potential and motivated me. The Wave value that resonates with me the most is "We live our fullest lives now." I love that we can sometimes work from home, spend time with loved ones, do things we love, or just enjoy sports - thanks to Wave’s benefit package! This is how Wilson describes 'living your fullest life' … “I believe in living life to the fullest, which means being productive during the week and taking time to relax and engage in leisure activities that bring me joy on the weekends. I love spending my free time hiking, playing volleyball, and even swimming. Some of my favorite places to hike are Wanale and Tororo hills in Uganda, and I aim to hike the mighty Mountain Elgon in the near future. Working in a fast-paced environment can be demanding, so I make it a point to take time off and enjoy life outside of work. This helps me maintain a clear and focused mind when I am on the job.” Like Wilson, remember to prioritize self-care and find activities that bring you joy outside of work. 💙 Have a wonderful weekend!

Some passages from her intervention alongside Hermann Éric G. AHOUANDJINOU, Mobile Money Director Huawei Northern Africa, and Joseck Modiri, CoLead Digital Finance services advisor at the IFC, the moderator of the discussions: "It is necessary to let fintech continue to build the digital payment culture further and enrich this experience."
