In July 2019, Wren Kitchens launched an IT Academy with the hope of attracting over 100 new employees to support the expansion of its in-house IT function. These future tech experts will drive the developments of innovative software and technology to further enhance Wren’s customer experience. The influx of graduates will hopefully double Wren’s IT capacity over the next year.
The UK’s fastest growing bricks and mortar retailer, Wren Kitchens, will expand overseas this year to bring its award-winning affordable, luxury kitchens to the American market. Founded in 2009, Wren Kitchens has 90 showrooms across the UK, and its first international expansion will be in Milford, Connecticut, this summer with several more showroom openings planned throughout the year in the Northeast.
Kitchen retailer Wren Kitchens has opened its doors in Harrogate, creating more than 20 local jobs. Its 19,190 sq ft showroom has 66 kitchens on display as well as a 3D virtual reality room, an interior design studio for local interior designers and architects to use and a specialist trade centre dedicated to local kitchen professionals. It is located at Hookstone Retail Park. The Lord Mayor and Mayoress of Harrogate cut the ribbon to officially welcome the public for the first time.

After a rigorous three day assessment, the British Accreditation Council (BAC) recommended the standards and quality of our bespoke health & safety training at Barton, Scunthorpe & Howden. This top accolade means that we train to the same high standards as colleges & further education courses. We’ve significantly invested in our manufacturing training facilities, especially the flagship site in Barton!

Wren Kitchens are extremely pleased to announce that we have raised £5,000 to be donated to the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance unit. The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is at the forefront of Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) in the UK, attending an average of three potentially life-saving missions every single day, 365 days of the year. This year they will take the huge step forward by starting to operate 24 hours a day – saving even more lives than ever before!
This summer, our aim is to help develop the next generation of talented tech professionals, Wren Kitchens will be launching an IT internship programme for undergraduates. Aimed at second year IT university students, the UK’s best retail place to work is offering competitively paid internships at its headquarters in Barton-upon-Humber & North Lincolnshire. Ww will welcome over 200 IT graduates and interns over the next two years to cater for the rapid growth of the company
