A team of more than 20 employees volunteered at Michigan’s FIRST Robotics Competition in Detroit, a competition providing student’s hands-on training in science and technology as they go head-to-head with their robots in games versus other teams. Working side-by-side with professional engineers to design and build the robots, students get an insider’s view of a career in STEM.

Employees from our Holland technical center came together to help assemble 580 sack suppers for children in need for the Kids’ Food Basket in Holland, MI. In addition, they delivered a $1,000 iCare grant that will help provide 1,000 sack suppers.
Recently, our Fountain Inn, S.C. “Clean Team” gathered 14 bags of garbage at the local Cedar Falls park. The effort was part of PalmettoPride, a legislative initiative created to fight litter and help beautify South Carolina. PalmettoPride was created in response to citizens' concerns regarding the amount of litter in South Carolina.

To give back to the community, a team from our Novi Tech Center volunteered in Detroit at the Gleaners Community Food Bank, which, with broad community support, fights hunger in southeastern Michigan. The team packaged thousands of pounds of apples and sweet potatoes, impacting more than 7,000 lives.
