Today we are celebrating National Intern Day and our 2017 North American Summer Interns! Out of 5,882 applicants, 70 interns, representing 31 different colleges, were chosen to join our team and are located at 16 YFAI locations around the U.S. and Canada. The YFAI Internship Program helps to build a talent pipeline and test drive that talent. The program is extremely beneficial to the company and acts as a way to find future employees, bring in a new perspective and helps to increase productivity.
To celebrate Children’s Day, our Santa Maria, Mexico team gathered with their families for a day of fun, which included pony rides, arts and crafts, games, bounce houses and more.
A round of applause is in order for our Holland, MI Tech Center and plants, as the team received an award from the local American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life for its top fundraising efforts.
