ghSMART authors Shoma Hayden, Dina Wang, Elena Lytkina Botelho and Senior Editor Brad Winn have written an article "Selecting a New Leader: Data Nuggets vs. Data Noise" in SHRM's People + Strategy Journal. The study identifies four nuggets of data that are particularly salient when selecting a new CEO: 1) decisiveness, 2) adaptability, 3) engagement and inclusion, and 4) reliability.
