Our director of mmWave PA systems, Rui Ma, will be co-organizing a workshop at IMS titled “AI and Machine Learning for RF Power Amplifier Design and Digital Predistortion.” This workshop brings researchers from both academia and industry to discuss how the newly developed AI/ML algorithms can be used in RF power amplifier (PA) design and digital pre-distortion (DPD). They will discuss the latest development of DPD algorithms using machine learning, including DPD model simplification, long-term memory effect compensation, model extraction data selection, closed-loop adaptation and neural networks-based DPD for linearizing multi-band MIMO phased array transmitters.
