Pros

Prinicipal/Senior Developers really know their stuff. They are very willing to answer all questions and are really patient with involving you into the project.

Overall an awesome work environment, casual dress allowed.

Snacks are in abundance

Cons

Pay needs to be a little bit more competitive.

    Pros

    Opportunities to work on many different projects. Free food and drinks.

    Cons

    Demanding hours with no overtime pay. You have to be within a specific group of people to get the recognition and promotions that you deserve. If you are not within that group, very little opportunity for advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Some employees who have a lot of experience working on various projects might be leaving because they are not getting the recognition and promotions. This will affect the company because they will be leaving with a lot of knowledge that the company depends on for certain projects.

    Pros

    No doubt the people at PSW our great people and fun to hang out with and party with after work. They do hire smart engineers and are able to produce.

    Cons

    The leadership from team leads through the management chain has limited experience to manage people, manage projects on time, and set a course for sustained growth.
    Projects are late internally but overinflated schedules are easy to meet from the customers perspective so a 96% on-time performance seems good.
    Good luck getting recognized for your achievements.... Yeah, you'll get profit sharing in December but it sure would be nice to just get a thank you every now and then.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Leadership training would go along way for the PLs, TMs, PMs, and on up the chain. The company lacks professionals that know how to manage people.
