Pros
Great part time job to start at, they make students feel welcome and give good foundational rules that are applicable to any job. Very kind and accommodating to people with different abilities.
Cons
Almost high school like levels of drama in management. Aside from that, they give absolutely no support to their managers even when explicitly asked to. Don’t expect to catch any slack with learning curves, the (crooked) way that your coworker shows you will do just fine, because you never got any actual training on important tasks. If you’re not cheating, you’re not trying! Then when you ask how to do things the right way, you’ll get pushed off again and again until you burn out and get fired.
Speaking of burnout, you will never have a healthy work life balance either, since no one in management seems to comprehend what that could possibly mean.
You’ll also learn that all effort is met with a flippant “break on us” which means nothing when you’re spending it on items you were forced to mark up 80% yourself. If you want to rob the good people of Canton daily, this is a great place to work!
