      Pros

      Cons

scheduling is inconsistent, hiring process is questionable

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Good pay, some flexibility with hours

      Cons

Where do i start…expect to be treated differently if you don’t look and talk like the other people. Get on their bad side once (for me it was calling out for extra time when I was recovering from illness) and you’ll barely be respected again. If they decide they don’t like you, expect to never be appreciated for your hard work Noticed that me and other lgbt coworkers were isolated/looked down upon. Hiring managers, I swear, get paid to do nothing and act like high schoolers. Promotions will be dangled in your face basically and you have to essential pester management to get any.

      Pros

      - Clothing discounts - Processes and tasks can feel simple and easy once settled into the role - Predominantly female work environment - Working amongst young individuals in a nice environment can be upbeat and fun

      Cons

      - Strict KPIs and expectations - Advertised as providing leading industry wages, but compensates less than competitors - Little room for development - Not a reliable company to stick with long-term - Working weekends, holidays, and late hours

      Boutique lead
      Current employee
      Toronto, ON

      Business Outlook

      Pros

The job isn't easy and the company is very much based off performance but I never felt more supported in a company as I have with Aritzia. There's pressure, sure, and I read about a lot of toxic managers on here but I've had the complete opposite experience. My managers above me wanted nothing more than success and happiness for me in my role. Aside from the managers themselves, the vacation pay and the bonus were great additions.

      Cons

Time off can be tricky because they need the managers in store but it can usually be worked out. The pressure to preform can be stressful as well. But if you're ready to dive into the hard work you'll find success!

      Pros

I liked interacting and working with customers

      Cons

Would have to fold and refold the same clothes over and over again. They also are behind on their scheduling process. All of it is done on paper. You have to go into the store, fill out your availability on a piece of paper, and then it gets transfered onto the full schedule which is another piece of paper.

      Terrible company

      Distribution centre associate
      Current employee

      Pros

      Cons

not acknowledged for The hard work you put in. Company is broke. Shifts barely available when they hire hundreds of new people.

      Pros

      There was nothing really good.

      Cons

I worked here in 2017 as a uni student. The older/longterm employees would steal customers/commission from new employees. Some of the people were nice and I've made some friends (but they were seasonal employees), but the rest of the long time employees think much too highly of themselves working at a mere clothing store at such a mature age. Go get a real job, then maybe that superiority attitude would match your role. They were not welcoming to new people. The management also took advantage of my hourly rate.
