My colleagues were incredible. I've met lifelong friends whilst working here. The office in Witney is lovely but difficult to get to unless you drive or live local. Good benefits like birthday off and decent annual leave which increases each year. Having worked here looks great on CV to the wider travel industry. If you're local, full time and want to start in travel sales then it's great but if you have outside committments, part time, health issues or live far away then look elsewhere as Audley aren't very inclusive and will penalise you for not adhering to the standard norm

Not sure where to start. Looks like a fantastic company from the outside but once you're in a non sales department, you're stuck there with lack of recognition, progression or reward for working really hard. Loved working here initially because I had great colleagues however after a while you realise that you're just a number especially once they brought a new mandatory office attendance policy. Won't go into detail but was given no choice but to eventually find employment elsewhere. Very little empathy or support from HR. Every department is treated different and sales is definitely favoured. I had friends in sales who were just given what they wanted flexible working wise as they were 'high earners'. Even though office days were agreed verbally at the start, this was disregarded and my written contract was constantly thrown in my face. Do not sign your contract at Audley unless it explicitly states what you have agreed with them. High up management lack much integrity and don't seem to care for the non sales departments. Once I left I realised how depressed I'd become there. Much happier now that I'm in a supportive, creative environment that encourages growth, change and theres open honest communication between employees and management. Personally I'd stay away now and find a smaller company that will value you as a person

I can't identify any pros to working with this company

Cons of working for this company include: When you start, you feel valued, but over time, you become easily replaceable. There's a lot of favoritism, and my manager wasn't really supportive. No matter how hard you work or how much you contribute, you're always treated like just a number. The perks aren't great, and unless you're either kissing up or have been around for a long time, it feels like the company doesn't truly care about its employees. The benefits are far from impressive, if you get an opportunity elsewhere, I'd recommend taking it.

Amazing travel for every member of staff, great industry leading benefits, excellent l&d programme.

Some micromanagement, weekend work an unavoidable aspect of the industry, but fairly approached.

Good team and good benefits - travel discounts and opportunities, fully paid healthcare, decent PTO, decent company events. Some of these things became less important to be over time and as I grew my skillset/got older.

Terrible pay for hours and expectations. Sales goals are high pressure. If you aren't hitting goals, it's talked about often, and if you are, it's not praised really but asked about how you're going to hit that again next month... with pennies in commission on big ticket bookings.

PTO, benefits, cool office, get to talk about travel, if you get great coworkers then it's awesome and build camaraderie (trauma bonding)

Toxic leadership - old school Audley had amazing leadership - they would actually treat you like a person and listen to you, you could build relationships with upper management and they cared. With the newer post-covid leadership they punish you and berate you for speaking your opinion. All they would do is talk about sales, hitting targets and then take lavish "business" trips and brag about them on their townhall meetings while people work long hours and can barely afford to live where they work. You used to be able to work remotely but then they required everyone to come in 3x a week and fired/let go people who wouldn't comply even if they had legitimate reasons (ie. live out of state due to moving during pandemic). If you're not in sales you're literally treated like a nobody. No opportunity advancement. You are severely micromanaged. Culture can be fun, but unprofessional at times - it is shocking what has gone down in the office.
