      Pros

Flexible schedule, easy access, choice of therapist, and additional benefits like CEUs and opportunities to be licensed in different states.

      Cons

Occasional difficulties in connections. Difficult to communicate with administration right away.

      Lots of clients, low pay

      Pros

Quick referral process, high referral rate, ability to determine size of caseload, accessible and user-friendly platform.

      Cons

Low pay, no benefits, no reimbursement for no-shows/cancellations.

      Great platform; Low pay.

      Pros

Excellent, user-friendly platform. Great community of therapists.

      Cons

Very low pay and no benefits. The worst is when a client cancels and you don't receive a cancellation fee. A session takes a total of one hour of work, but you only get paid for 45 minutes.

Couldn't think of how it could be better!

      Pros

Listing the endless pros of this company would take all day but i'll sum it up as this... Betterhelp is one of the best of the best companies I have ever worked for. They prioritize work/life balance, the pay is above average, the benefits are just as good and it's low stress (or at least that's how I compare it to past jobs).

      Cons

Every company has it's cons but the type of cons are important. Truly th only cons I can think of come with the territory of being an online platform meaning technology has a mind of it's own so there will be kinks and things that need to be worked out throughout the process.

      Pros

remote work, supposed flexible schedule, benefits promised but unattainable

      Cons

This other therapist summed it up nicely: "Better Help is a terrible option for the telehealth therapist that wants to work virtually. Better Help essentially takes a 70/30 split in their favor. You can expect to make $22.5/hour for the first 7 clients you see in a week, because of the way their pay-scale is structured. They advertise as "starting at $30/hour" but fail to inform you that there are 45 minute session caps, and so you're actually making $22.50/session, not $30. They encourage constant messaging with clients in order to make more money "per word" sent/received, which enforces terrible boundaries and unhealthy therapist-client dynamics. They invest millions of dollars, it seems, in advertisements and celebrity deals, but fail to pay the people who are keeping them "in business" a livable wage. They are a tech company and their number one priority is to make money for themselves-- not for the hardworking, educated, credentialed therapist that keeps their clients "subscribed" in the first place. You're better off going to a different online platform that values therapists, that allows you to get credentialed with insurance companies, and to set your own cash rates. This job is not sustainable. You will burn yourself out if you try to make this your only source of income-- it's not doable. I have submitted feedback from 2021-2024 on every survery they provide pleading for better pay for therapists but nothing changes. Don't bother- don't contribute to their continued exploitation of therapists."

      Pros

      ## A Rewarding Experience: A Therapist's Review --- As a **therapist** working for this company, my experience has been genuinely **rewarding**. The work environment provides everything I need to focus on my clients and grow professionally. One of the most significant benefits is the **consistent caseload availability**. I never have to worry about gaps in my schedule, which allows me to maintain a steady and impactful practice. Furthermore, the **scheduling flexibility** is exceptional and truly works for my personal needs and lifestyle. It's a huge plus to be able to shape my work week in a way that prevents burnout and keeps me feeling fresh for my sessions. Finally, the **credentialing process was remarkably smooth**. This often-stressful hurdle was handled efficiently and quickly, which meant I could focus on my core mission—serving the community—with minimal delay. Overall, the support, flexibility, and streamlined operations have created an environment that has maximized my **capacity to serve the community**. I highly recommend this company to other therapists looking for a supportive and efficient place to practice.

      Cons

I really have no advice for management.
