      Great place to work

      Human resources
      Current employee

      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great benefits, good people, lots of internal career opportunity

      Cons

Long hours can put a strain on sustainability

      Depends

      Senior administrative assistant
      Current employee
      Atlanta, GA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

BCG as an entire company is great, great benefits, plenty of flexibility and growth opportunities

      Cons

Nexus Atlanta is the worst. Management is bad and too many captains and not enough crew. They DO NOT listen to office morale being low - in turn, they make it worse.

      Great benefits, smart people

      Project leader
      Current employee
      Boston, MA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

The benefits are really good, health insurance, travel perks and etc. mostly clear career path

      Cons

the hours is very intensive on projects

Smart people, great benefits - for your life in exchange

      Junior executive assistant
      Former employee

      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Top talent, global leaders, very smart people with great attitude, so it is a very nice place to work at. Great benefits, generous pay and gifts, lavish events, also clear career progression opportunities globally.

      Cons

Very demanding, very fast-paced - you have to be available all the time, so flexible working hours means late nights and early mornings too, overtime is very common but was unpaid in my role.

Thanks for your review! We are very proud to hire top talent who are committed to making an impact. We're happy to hear that our benefits and culture also created a positive experience for you at BCG.

Very bad handling of maternity cases

      Project leader
      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

People pleasant to work with, intelligent people

      Cons

Very bad dealing of women during maternity eg, delay in promotion due to no apparent reason, no tenure credit for the time spent in maternity leave, constant threat of getting fired from job after return from maternity etc. Other than this, bad career progression, politics, very strict performance standards with no room for error, low empathy for personal people circumstances etc.

Great development but not so great for mental health

      Lead knowledge analyst
      Current employee
      London, England
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Humbling environment with impressive profiles, opportunities for professional development if you know how to navigate the politics, and offers good benefits (but salary for Knowledge team needs to be reviewed)

      Cons

Non existent work life balance, a bunch of smart but insecure people who can really get under your skin and damage your mental health. You really need to know and be firm with your own values and ensure that your personal time is well protected.

      Cons

Only con is sometimes work-life balance, but manageable

      Employer branding specialist
      Current employee
      Atlanta, GA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Working with a global team of individuals who are motivated and excited about what they're working on creates a great work environment. Hybrid office environment allows for work-life balance and there are great benefits and flexibility. BCG really cares about inclusion and investing in their employees, there is a lot of opportunity for career growth.

      Cons

Having a global team is great but it would be nice to have more opportunities to connect with direct team members in person.

Great culture but poor growth opportunities

      Cons

Difficult promotion measurement for non-generalist track, life can be tough 325/360 days.
