What is the hiring process like at CSL Plasma?

If I didn't need to pay bills and rent, there isn't a single thing that would keep me here. Not a single pro I can think of.

- Company cuts hours to save money, meaning even if I am full-time, I hardly work and hardly make ends meet. - Inconsistent pay. I got told I was a "higher pay tier" upon hiring due to previous experience, but found out a fresh out of highschool coworker was hired at a higher tier. Turns out management just doesn't track our pay scales and makes random choices in hiring. - Horrible customers. Entitled, rude, horrible hygiene, constantly on drugs/drunk. - Constantly added responsibilities with no possibility to increase pay or get promoted.

- They offer snacks to employees on shift - 2 sets of free scrubs with part-time employment.

- Belittlement of new hires. - Rotating work shift weeks; all opening shifts one week (6:30am start time) and the next is all closing shifts (almost leaving at 9pm). There is no room for work/life balance with a schedule like that. - Working every other weekend is mandatory. - Employees are allowed to have any length of nails, as a phlebotomist that is a work safety hazard. - Upper management plays favorites among their the staff and it is very apparent. - Phlebotomists & DST's yelling and cussing in front of donors on the donor floor. - Witnessed employees smoking weed on their lunch break in their car. - Apparently there were 3 donor deaths in the recent year, but management wouldn't give us new hires details on what exactly happened. - No phones are allowed on the donor floor, but some of the favorite employees got away with making Tiktoks while on shift. - Was trained by a Phlebotomist that consistently told me she hated her job and was wanting to quit. - They don't treat the donors like people at this location, they're just another number to them. - Trash bins were over flowing and there were blood stains everywhere on the donor floor. - They required employees to park behind the building with overflow cars in fire lanes because there was not enough parking for all the staff on shift. - As a new hire, was told to leave my belongings in my car because there were no more employee lockers.

You build bonds with some donors

Poor management Shows favoritism when considering promotions Hostile work environment Closes at 7pm but may not get home till around 10:30 because you have to stay until the last donor is finished donating Intimidating supervisor that likes give the new hires a hard time Minimum training No overtime available

They will hired anything so having a job is never a problem

Very unprofessional, the pay is so low

Happy work environment, extra money for donations, and free lunch every so often.

I was told I would be promoted to a position after more experience in QA and then they gave the only opening to someone with less experience but a bachelor's degree who worked at one blood previously for only a couple months.
