What is the hiring process like at Camping World?

Hiring process is slow, checks are short and it seems like they can't figure out hiring process to pay you the hourly wage you agreed on. General manager tells female employees to wear makeup, shorter skirts, and asked a trans person to use a segregated bathroom in the warehouse.

Great work life balance with a excellent company culture.

Improvements needed in training staff for new roles or as a new hire.

-Company is hybrid as opposed to full time -coworkers are pleasant

- benefits are absolutely terrible, probably worst you'll ever have - barely any PTO - upper management obsesses over money and sales and needing to cut costs -doesn't make sense why department lets some people work remote but not others -high turnover and constant internal shuffling -hiring new employees instead of promoting the current employees who want certain roles -will probably have a long commute

Paychecks came in good order.

I should have known this was a bad situation based solely on how horribly they talk to and disrespect candidates. If during the interview process you feel like you're being micromanaged (told how to talk and what to wear), listen to your instincts! Walk away!! I didn't. I thought that I just needed to get in the door, and - c'mon, it won't be *that* bad. Oh, it was. Work here only if you have zero self-respect and enjoy being micro-, and I mean MICRO-managed! Otherwise, flee like the plague.

Short staffing. Workday has been a bear cat. Freeze hiring, at the busiest time of the year.

Unfortunately there are none but some people are good.

No employee appreciation They say hiring but behind the door firing constantly. Leaders only want revenue but they don’t have skills to manage skilled people. No benefits Leaders are rude and manipulative Live for new people and software but then fades away IT CIO is the worst lady and lies and manipulative.
