What are perks and other benefits like at Cineworld Cinemas?

The teams at Cineworld are always full of wonderful people and the benefits of being able to get free tickets or use the screens for staff events is a great bonus

The company is open every single day of the year except Christmas day. Extra pay is available on boxing day and new year's Day but only for hourly paid employees. On top of this the management structure suffers from the Peter principle, with many managers being incompetent which can be frustrating for both new and veteran staff members. It's also very common for customers to kick off at staff members and having that competance as a managers is needed in these situations, I personally have seen too many people leave the business because they did not feel supported by my colleagues in situations like these.

Starbucks manager is absolutely incredible, a manager who focuses on the people! This allowed for a great work life balance and lots of support

Head office and regional management treat their sites as pests and obstacles. They do anything to make your job worse. The hours are claimed to be flexible but this is a retail job so weekends are no longer yours and you do not know your shifts until a week before you are needed Uncertainty with job security and how many hours you will have day by day

Horrid place to work the team leaders are awful and on such a high horse. The manager is a wet blanket won’t rectify any issues brought up by staff if it involves higher ups. Drops you like your nothing but then needs you everyday like you worth your weight in gold. No hours will be given for weeks then expected to work everyday the next week
