What are perks and other benefits like at Cornell University?

Good pay, good benefits and lots of great learning opportunities

Environment is slow and project funding is hard to get due to IT project funding cuts

Coworkers are friendly, good benefits and work/life balance

Great pay, excellent benefits, love Evelyn Gordon as my HR Rep A11y, and who was also my recruiter as I got interviewed.

Again the hazing behavior by the sysadmin on the GitHub repository itself (their username is arxiv) deleted my hard iterative code work to refine and optimize their code as I was deploying their infrastructure onto google cloud at the same time. (I’m also a system cloud architect at google) Like not cool, and that’s why I did a 4 star and not a 5 star. Evelyn Gordon is the 5 star champion it’s the 1 star sysadmin blocking my work that is stipulated in my contract that needs to go.

You will feel like a small fish in a large pond. This is a corporation and the small employees don't matter. Some offices are really flexible and employee minded while others are not, so it really depends on what manager you have how your experience will be.
