      Pros

Job security, Decent pay, Good benefits, Work from home, Union protection, Good company at heart

      Cons

Dishonest leadership, Pay is low for the expected work, Responsibilities increase frequently with no pay increase, Inadequate equipment / software to do the job right, Difficult to advance if you don't live near headquarters, Semi-useless union, Can't take good intentions to the bank

      Pros

Safety driven Solid pay structure Great Benefits

      Cons

Unsustainable workloads, slow upward mobility, diminishing culture, lack if work life balance

      Business Outlook

      Pros

The people and middle management are great to work with, and there's purpose in the work we do.

      Cons

Diminishing culture, mandatory return to work for office staff, huge workloads, reduced bonuses and raises every year for several years, slow upward mobility, storm duty required after nearly 10 years of working there which consists of being on-call every 3 weeks (24 hour shift on day 1, 8 hours rest, and then 16 hour shifts until storm closes). Storm duty is required without regard to home life, medical issues, childcare needs, etc., you have to use your personal vehicle and damage is not covered by the company, and we're put in very unsafe situations even if we're an office employee with no experience working with the electrical equipment.

      Pros

Work from home is the only good thing.

      Cons

I believe company cares more for the delinquent customers than their employees because b the middle of the pandemic we got a pay cut due to “budgets” but 4 weeks later there was a program to help pay the bills of delinquent customers

      Pros

Love the culture, really like my job, great benefits, great work life balance, good pay. You want to work here.

      Pros

Great coworkers, WFH two days per week, guaranteed bonus each year.

      Cons

Upper management is stuck in the 1980’s, very little career or salary progression, took away fully remote work despite everyone begging them not to, doing much more work due to mass employee exodus/buyout earlier this year.

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Work From Home during and after covid

      Cons

too many lean years, people leave or retire and are not being replaced. their work load is being placed on other team members. Last 10 years all the training I received was either free seminars or offered to by vendors who products I supported. Limited promotions and advancement.

      Solid company

      Gas engineer
      Current employee

      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

I generally enjoy the people I work with. Not many difficult personalities. Stable career. Company is stubborn about not laying people off. Hybrid work structure. WFH on Mondays and Fridays

      Cons

Salary could be a little better, particularly compared to other gas utilities. Recent financial struggles of the company have caused some frustration. Promotions were frozen, tuition repayment program was paused, and open positions were left open leading to understaffing. This “lean mode” period is gradually getting better but still a challenge.
