Pros
IF you have a good manager, the experience isn't so bad. But even a really good manager has their hands tied by company policy, their district manager, and their regional manager.
Cons
Hours are constantly being reduced while the amount of work and deadlines increases. Full-time employees get part-time hours, but are expected to get the same amount of work done when they had full-time hours. Because there are no hours, shifts are always understaffed and the employees are overworked to meet their deadlines. There is no chance for growth. There are also very little benefits, even if you've worked for the company forever. If there is an increase in shoplifting or damaged items at your location, the company reduces the location's hours and the employee bonuses. Managers get punished for increasing hours at their location and rewarded if they do not use up all the hours they are given (they get a bonus from the company if they have hours left over).
