What is the hiring process like at IntouchCX?

      My Opinion

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Colleagues and managers are very supportive, and there's a strong culture of understanding that you're still learning — making mistakes is seen as a natural part of the process. The customer service approach we follow is excellent. The company's location in Maadi, Cairo is convenient and accessible for most people. There's a sense of freedom — you don't feel like a robot just reading from a script. Instead, you're treated as a human who genuinely interacts with customers, which is rare in this field.

      Cons

It would be great to have the option to work from home in Egypt. The salary is relatively low and needs to be increased. Transportation should be provided, especially for night shifts. The hiring process is very slow and involves too many steps — hopefully, it can be simplified in the future. The recruiters from the Asia team often give inconsistent information about job offers. It would be better if employee management was handled by the company itself, not an external agency.

      Pros

The hiring process was a breeze, The company seems to be used to high turnover in the CSR role, so they are eager to take a chance if you show high interest! My team leads have all been pretty great.

      Cons

The pay could be better, but is dictated by the client company. I wish the CSR 2 role required a bit more training or higher level of excellence. It's sometimes a challenge to get an accurate/timely/helpful resolution when seeking their assistance during a call.

      Business Outlook

      Pros

People, pay is alright, easy hiring process (if you speak directly to HR).

      Cons

Pay isn't the best, favouritism, criminals, sexual harassment, drama, you'll only be promoted if you're sleeping with or brown nosing upper management, no paid holidays off or even time and a half because they're a Canadian company, awful points system, you have to have a medical accommodation to use the bathroom like a normal adult.

      Pros

The interview process was quite fair. First, you fill in your information, and then you receive a call. After that, it's a last in-person interview.

      Cons

The company has an attendance points system and an old system called Avaya. It really is micromanagement to the max. The pay is not good considering that there's a range that is promised but never given.

      1

      Somewhat demeaning. Treated like cattle.

      Pros

Easy to get hired unless you are a bank robber.

      Cons

Chained to a desk for 8 hours. They even monitor when you pee.
