Keyence India - where one can only be judged.

      Pros

Good money but at a cost.

      Cons

Keyence India is a company where you will love working initially. But gradually you will come to know that they are loving in their own dreamy and perfect world where everything has to be the KEYENCE WAY. Marketing department in Keyence India is a laughter element for all the other departments because it is not respected in any manner. The Marketing Manager (Japanese) doesn’t know about Indian mindset and forces the team to work according to the Japanese standards. All of them, even the MD is stuck to their way which of course doesn’t fetch the result. They didn’t achieve their annual target, some of the branches do not even achieve their monthly targets. They don’t even know the meaning of BTL marketing and their one of the major marketing method is BTL. Only online marketing they perform is email marketing and that too in their own KEYENCE WAY. They are struggling to set up a simple chat marketing dashboard for over 3 months now. You have to say yes to every nonsensical thing they have. They look down on employees who are not that much socially active in the organisation, they judge on the basis of employees’ very individual nature. If the employee is working but does not speak much it means that he/she is not fit for KEYENCE. They judge even if someone quietly walks out after the shift timings for not saying bye to everybody out loud. If you are willing to grow in KEYENCE then please go and start working there… their interview process is like stealing a toy from a child. But if you want your career to be good in long term and want to explore this is not for you. Universal standards are not allowed in Keyence, because KEYENCE WAY has to be followed even if it is nonsensical and time taking.

Great tools, but high hours and pressure

      Pros

Fast paced work environment. CRM is the best I have ever had access to. Data tracking and sales insight is top notch. The regional director for TSS in Michigan/Indiana is great to work under. Leads are easily available, the product is great and it’s easy to get in the door places.

      Cons

Metrics are more focused on quantity over quality. Frequently working 50+ hour weeks. Too many reps per territory and it can create a negative perception. Bonus structure vs straight commission is frusterating. Clear advancement structure however being ranked against peers with different sales targets in frusterating. Feels like a turn and burn type of mentality towards sales reps.

Czys aggressively hires directly out of college and does a fantastic job of training and mentoring new hires in their first job. There’s also a great safety net for new hires or for those who are currently struggling during a specific quarter. Keyence is one of the worlds largest companies, and that comes an insane amount of resources that help me in my role every single day whether that is, technical, or administrative support. About 70% of Khan’s products are also industry first so it is a really cool company to work for if you want to be on the groundbreaking side of manufacturing technology.

      Cons

Like every company, There is a large below management culture, who have been there for an extended amount of time. I think most are incredibly good, but there is a very stiff response to when change is proposed and no matter larger small it will most likely be shot down.

      Pros

They don't hire from outside meaning that everyone will start at the same level giving everyone an equal opportunity to move up the company ladder

      Cons

The turnover rate in this company is pretty high and they are constantly hiring to fill out positions
