What are perks and other benefits like at Labcorp?

Decent pay, good variety of benefits, lots of schedule options depending on what department you’re in

Leadership is disorganized and seem to be stretched too thin

Good benefits and medical insurance options, a viable way to get valuable experience in the medical field before pursuing a different career path in medicine.

Jaded employee culture, terrible patient treatment, long grueling hours. While you will accrue PTO you will never be able to use it because there is no coverage for your shifts. Consistently understaffed, made to work in dirty grimy environments. Expected to work overtime but then chastised for putting in too many hours. Don't waste your time propping up a sinking ship, especially when they will never value you or reflect that value in compensation.

There is opportunity for growth and development. The benefits are great and management is huge on employee engagement. I met Adam and he is truly a great leader and proud to be a part of his organization.

The company offers a very comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as a matching 401k plus stock options.

You need to be able to work independently without much communication from management above team leads. There pay seems to stay on the lower end well under the average and it is difficult to increase pay even when moving to new positions.

The bureaucracy within the billing department eventually burned me out and I had to quit for my mental health. My last boss only ever spoke to me to give negative feedback.

Above average pay, good benefits, time off accrual, and the company discounts were all great.

Upper management has unrealistic expectations, constantly under-staffed especially in high-volume areas. Issues were made known to management and they refused to compromise or make rational changes. Favoritism in regards to accepting time-off requests and reprimanding people who violate work safely protocols and inappropriate conduct, making the work environment tense.

Love the team. My manager is amazing. The benefits are great, with unlimited PTO time which is something I have not heard of before.

I'm new, only 3 months, I don't have any cons to share at the moment.
