What are perks and other benefits like at Maximus?

Sounds Good, But its a setup for failure

      Business Outlook

      Pros

They have terrific benefits, including discount perks and dailypay options, as well as bonus incentives, paid training and an easy application process.

      Cons

They mass hire staff without fully examining the individuals thoroughly. Then they run them too quickly through the training process, aka elimination rounds, hoping they have enough staff completing to fill the positions. They only allow 2 15-minute breaks and a 30-min lunch unless you request an accommodation for more time due to an established disability. Considering it takes at least 7 to 10 minutes to get out of the building and back due to only 1 entry/exit, security and having to keep personal effects in a locker, there is no time to journey across the vast parking lot to your vehicle nor even walk the 6 extra mins it takes to go to and return from the only designated smoking area that is provided.

      Pros

      Cons

Everything good went away when it was bought by Maximus. My salary was cut in half without notice.

Decent Job for the pay and benefits

      Customer service representative, marketplace
      Current employee
      Lawrence, KS
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

You do have the ability to move up in the company about every 6 months or so if you wish to. Benefits are standard 120hrs a year for PTO earned weekly over the year, sick leave earned weekly and healthcare that does not cost you anything if you are okay with horrible insurance.

      Cons

You are topped out after moving up to Tier 3 unless you go to ARC, or apply to be a supervisor that does not come around that often. The free insurance has a very high deductible. Getting time off as you move up in the company is hard to come by. At this time, you will be dealing with agents that are fraudulently enrolling consumers, and CMS is not doing anything about it and talking to just a few real consumers each day.
