      Pros

From the time I open the door up to start working for Maximus my recruiter, Tyler has been the greatest. They are friendly, fast professionals that make sure that you have everything you need before you start. It was a easy process they walk you through it they help you through it I mean the whole experience was just great. It was awesome. I would recommend them to anyone.

      Cons

The staffing other recruiters from Maximus. They deserve bonuses as well because they are great.

Flexible job, great benefits, low pay

      Customer service representative
      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Flexible time off, good training, good supervisors and managers, Free heath insurance, 401k w matching, 2 weeks paid time off, sick paid leave, work from home (atleast for my position), only 25 to 40 interactions a day. I work in Webchat, minimal phone time.

      Cons

Call Center environment. Low pay. You will work phones as a new hire. Can be stressful until you learn everything.

      Flexible Micro-Managing

      Customer service representative
      Current employee
      Edinburg, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Job is flexible, VTO is offered when available, also flex-time and LWOP. Two medical excuses per quarter and each is good for 3 days, it is without pay though. We have a hotline for calling in, you accrue points that roll off but if not responsibly monitored can lead to termination. It is remote, and equipment is provided.

      Cons

Stressful calls, rude clients, you are micro-managed and every second of your day is monitored. Any deviance from scheduled talk-time is construed as call-avoidance. Management is not consistent and when you question conflicting directives you are threatened with insubordination write-ups. There are a mass onboarding of new employees every quarter due to absurd turnover, making labor dispensable and HR ambivalent to our concerns regarding quality of management.

      Great remote opportunity

      Remote customer service representative
      Former employee
      Pharr, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Easy interview and hiring process. Good company training material. Great benefits.

      Cons

Some supervisors were as lost as the new hires with the project and will give erroneous information. They would also prefer to chit chat and joke around with others instead of answering job related questions. Short breaks and lunches.

      Unrealistic Onboarding Expectations

      Anonymous employee
      Former employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Most of the people are nice Cameras off culture CEO seems to be a good guy Unlimited Time Off

      Cons

The performance expectations of new employees is incredibly unrealistic. Pay is below market. You have to complete a timesheet every day. What year is it? If your camera is on you’re expected to “perform”. Smile, look joyful, laugh at other people’s jokes….even if you’re stressed out af being your personal life is on fire.
