What is working from home like at Maximus?

No option to experience in office employment

Supposedly you can work from home for half a day, only when you are doing overtime to make up

They do not train you properly, do not sign you up properly for the systems, send you out to areas, an hour and a half away during your training, then tell you to get your work done by 5. They do not care about people and their work life balance at all.

Maximus offers great benefits to employees at this company. This company offers opportunities to work from home, tuition reimbursement, sick pay, and opportunities to seek assistance for mental health.

Large company with culture dedicated to inclusion and belonging, professional development, and innovation. Many remote and hybrid options and the flexibility of work from home.

Working from home can be a little isolating and virtual environment makes networking a challenge though not impossible.

Reactionary and I want to treat everyone like its high school management. Very inexperienced and unprofessional management. Constant contradictory and illogical directives. Basically management runs things like their head on fire all the time. The level accountability is not equal to the remuneration given.

Call Center environment. Low pay. You will work phones as a new hire. Can be stressful until you learn everything.

Training experience has left me traumatised. No job security, if you fail a module twice they will dismiss you. I have put hours and hours of study time in with a disability as well. Unreasonable expectations. Did support me but up to a point. Be prepared to be utterly consumed with study. It is a very steep learning curve.

Everything good went away when it was bought by Maximus. My salary was cut in half without notice.
