What is the salary like at McAfee?

Definitely loved my time at McAfee, worked on some great people that were very easy to worked with and always strived to do great work. Management was very supportive, the work was fun but sometimes challenging and confusing. Work life balance was fantastic, always had complete autonomy with fully remote work.

Old product, stuck in its ways and is just not that useful. Business and revenue was never doing too well, poor outlook. Constant changing of senior leadership and company direction. Who is buying Antivirus these days???

- It takes a long time to get promotions because promotion process is not that structural - Annual pay raise is just okay

fully remote, brand name recognition, decent culture

low pay, less perks, random restructuring and layoffs, lot of coordination with the US team requiring night work for Indian team.

pay is good and benefits is good. high intensity culture with a strong demand for accountability. clear transparency in goals from the top down, all aligned.
