Good staff, good pay. People were very nice.

      Cons

There is no bench time in between clients. I had great reviews from the client and they knew I was leaving, but there was no effort into finding me another job.

      Pros

Company focuses on high quality over quantity across the board Many opportunities to make additional income/bonuses Flexibility increases as you get promoted, they reward your hard work Training is excellent, and there are many opportunities for ongoing training Communication top-down is great, whenever there are changes made it's communicated promptly and they seek to make changes that positively affect their employees experience working at Medasource - employees are their greatest asset!

      Cons

A decent amount of your income will be made in commissions, or more than half if your an above average performer! This is a great opportunity for someone who is a little competitive and is ok with building their business over a period of time, who's not just looking to make a base salary in their 9-5.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience. Culture is everything here at Medasource, which is why we strive to create a welcoming environment where our employees feel empowered to be the best. We love hearing that you are happy and are glad to have you in the family! It is worth noting that we structure our pay based on a commission-supported scale with no caps or limits on the total amount our employees can make. Plus, we promote all our leadership positions from within, which means that starting salary is just the beginning of all the opportunities a career with Medasource can provide!

      Pros

      Flexible budget for client expenses

      Cons

All of management expectations for the sales reps are unrealistic, especially when considering the below average and hardly livable salary they refuse to increase to industry standard. The profits of the company largely sit in the pockets of the top layer of “executive” management, not with the employees who made the sales, which hasn’t ever changed. Management is very out of touch with the reality of day to day sales challenges and is incredibly unsupportive. Reps are held to weekly metrics regardless of actual sales performance/opportunities in pipeline. Leadership is incredibly amateur and underqualified for their roles, titles, and managing responsibilities, offering conditional support only to the priority of top-producing and senior reps, making themselves unavailable for the other several (always) new, inexperienced, drowning reps who they hired. The turnover is truly unheard of and absurd. The Houston office alone has lost more than half of its employees due to toxic culture and lack of support from leadership. The company has an extreme lack of accountability and strong loyalty to tenured management, creating insane amounts of turnover at the “bottom”. Several years of employees’ feedback of feeling constantly belittled, disrespected, overworked, and unsupported is written off by management as entitlement and laziness. The total dysfunction of the company in entirety keeps a revolving door of new hires who last an average of less than 1 year, all the while retaining the same people at the top who neglect to acknowledge the areas of profound weakness that have accumulated over the years causing severe dysfunction. Sales leadership pushes the sales team to produce more by taking away all employee flexibility, including WFH, implementing performance improvement plans with short timelines, and increasing already unattainable metrics, regardless of individual employee performance. Employees are entirely undervalued and are seen as numbers only. The insane turnover has created some extreme challenges to the profitability and financials of the company. Medasource has become a shady, immature, demeaning, and completely unprofessional company with a toxic work culture and terrible leadership.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and honest feedback! Although, we are disappointed to hear that it was a negative one. Culture is everything here at Medasource which is why we strive to create a welcoming environment where all our employees feel empowered to be the best. We say “strive” because as you have mentioned, our work is far from finished. Cultural changes do take time, and we believe we are taking the right steps. This includes the creation of our employee-led connection groups, joined together based on common backgrounds, identities, or interests to provide a safe space for conversation and development. We have also expanded our benefits to include mental wellness coverage, additional PTO, and parental leave for all employees, as well as tuition assistance for those who qualify. These are just some of our latest enhancements to our internal culture! As we continue to grow, so will the type of support and assistance we provide to our employees, consultants, and clients. Thank you again for your feedback, as it is reviews like this that help us better align our plans for the future with the needs of our internal employees!

      Pros

Great earning potential right out of school, paired with a solid training program and flexibility. It's an excellent starting point to build a strong career foundation, with a fun culture and a positive overall environment. While it may not be your final stop (though it truly feels like EEG hopes that it is), the sense of camaraderie and experience you gain at Medasource/EEG is hard to find elsewhere. Lastly, one of the things Medasource really got right during COVID was job security. The leadership made it clear that no one would be let go, and they did everything they could to keep us engaged during an uncertain time. Their efforts to stay connected and provide assurance through that period were commendable and I felt the approach on returning to the office was handled decently well as they embraced a more hybrid work style.

      Cons

As you start thinking about having kids and managing a mortgage, this job can become harder to consider. The time spent with clients, coworkers, and leadership outside of work can start to feel more like a chore, taking away from personal time. There’s also the inherent risk of your client base taking a hit or having a rough year (which, to be fair, is common in sales), and that can lead to questions about the long-term viability of the role, and sales in general, as a sustainable career. Job security at Medasource is strong, no doubt, but without clearer paths to move beyond an IC sales executive role, it becomes harder to envision this as a long-term career opportunity. The company has made great strides with work-life balance and benefits, which is appreciated, but when you factor in financial uncertainty alongside your base salary during a new phase of life, it becomes tough to justify sticking around once you’ve gained the experience needed to land a more senior role elsewhere. Also, staffing isn't for everyone. It's an unpredictable field and sometimes deals fall through. You have to focus on controlling what you can and stay resilient in the face of challenges.
