What are perks and other benefits like at MemoryBlue?

      Pros

I found the leadership at memoryBlue to follow through on their word, provide clear growth opportunities, and reward you with actual compensation bonuses and increases — a rare find in my experience. Overall, the Co-Founders and CEOs treated me with respect and valued my contributions to the company. I would recommend anyone who has the right personality for sales consider starting their career here and any company who needs reputable SDRs to look to memoryBlue. Honestly, I think this is one of the best places I've ever worked. They didn't abuse my time and offered anything you could ask for from a job — more money for a job well done, growth opportunities, competitive benefits, and an array of added perks that they didn't have to provide. I did not care too much for my direct manager, however, the leaders of the company were always great.

      Cons

It's a very young culture and can be kind of isolating if you're older than 25 and not into a certain vibe. You can't start on a 401K until a year of employment, at least you couldn't when I was there.

      Pros

      There is not many pros

      Cons

I would air on the side of caution when accepting an offer. They changed the pay scale and benefits abruptly. They want quantity over quality. I would not recommend starting your career here, you are likely to develop poor habits.

      Pros

      - Emphasis on growth and development. Very few other places offer a fast track to developing top-tier prospecting skills like memoryBlue does - The culture is to work hard and play hard. I automatically had an office full of best friends who were likeminded in our career growth goals, but after 5 p.m., there were also all of my best friends to hang out with - Alumni network: I didn't quite get this before I worked here, but I have seen it firsthand now, so I can vouch that there is a great alum network here that is very well connected, and anyone who has gone through mB loves to help another who has done the same. Lots of future opportunities

      Cons

      - There are plenty of places out there that offer more in terms of pay or benefits. That being said, with the new comp structure, a top performer can definitely make well above the industry average. I wholeheartedly believe the skills you develop will pay dividends in the long run, but that's definitely a decision you have to make - There is pretty little work-from-home flexibility in the beginning. Once you're more tenured or a top performer, it opens up but definitely tough at first

      Cons

-Management is largely untrained and unqualified -Base compensation is low -Hitting quota depends largely on your campaign -Some managers are much better than others

      Pros

I loved my team and the people that I worked with. I was truly sad to leave. They were like family to me. My specific manager was KICKASS, I love her, LOVE her. And she went to bat for me and the rest of the team every time. The managers and coworkers in this department are the best! The BEST team I ever worked with. I will scream this from the mountain top. Was flexible and understanding once I became a mom, allowed me to work hybrid, super grateful! Nothing to really complain about my manager or the specific work that I was doing. My responsbilities and how my role operated is a lot different than the SDR roles that are dominate at memoryBlue. I would recommend reaching out to anyone on LinkedIn that is or was a SDR at memoryBlue to get a real understanding of the work environment, different offices have different culture and standards. - Healthcare was great at this company when I left. - Great entry level company if you're looking to get into Tech Sales. - For SDRs: Great training and onboarding program. - First Fridays and TOPs were always a blast - Company will partial pay for events for company bonding - Network programs that mB provides - Constantly growing, changing and improving everyone that works at mB!

      Cons

experience as "Overhead": There is no real road for elevation or growth. They'll constantly want you to improve and grow to learn new skills take on more responsibilities. But it's a fight to be compensated or promoted fairly. Compensations/Raises isn't a process since we don't have KPIs. You will have to advocate for yourself to your manager. SDRs got raises once they hit each company's tenure milestone. We do not get the same benefits as SDRs. Their TOPs/President Club trips, 3K/5K trips, I was told were benefits for working at the company. They did not mention it only applied to SDRs. Don't get your hopes up if this is mentioned during your interview. It felt like a fight to get to TOPs every year. Workload is a lot. It's chaotic, most times. Roles and responsibilities changes all the time. If you constantly love being on your toes and staying busy, this is the company and job for you! The company is under a VC and recently acquired a different company. The transition was brutal by the time I left. A lot of the small things that made mB mB, weekly bagel day and breakfast burrito day, started to transition into potlucks for holidays and events. To cut cost but trying to maintain culture. Morale starting to dip pretty badly. Being at the company for a 4 years and seeing rapid decline is really hard to witness like most companies the last year or so.

Entry Level Position for an Increasingly Popular Industry: Great Training But Unfortunate Pay and Benefits

      Pros

Great people, great training, good foundation for a career in tech sales. Would recommend for new grads or people in sales wanting to break into SaaS. Unique business model that involves employees having the potential to get hired out by their client. Additionally, you can earn Friday’s off if you’re a top performer.

      Cons

Low pay, benefits take either 3 months or a year to kick in, and you’re assigned to a random client that can make or break your success (KPIs/quotas remain the same across clients for the most part). Very phone heavy compared to the industry norm. Lastly, internal politics are a huge mess.
