      Cons

They switch you from campaign to campaign without being able to grt your quota. They say you can have 2 campaigns at the time but almost no one has this and the commission is caped

      Pros

Great people and pretty good experience. You can earn Fridays off IF you hit quota, great GREAT perk. The job is FINE if you’re on a good client, even then it’s still kinda unbearable. The people are the really only GREAT thing. It got me an account executive role for my second role out of college which is a major pro.

      Cons

The pay is atrocious and the job fully depends on what client you get. I was an avid quota hitter but I was on a good client. The way they payout commission is absurd and very little. If you want experience and don’t mind living off your salary, go to mB. A majority of people aren’t in sales to live off salary, they’re in it to make a lot of money, memoryBlue does NOT offer this. If you hit quota, you make 1500$ BUT 1000$ of it goes into a bank that you aren’t allowed to get until you are at the company for 15 months. So prepare yourself to make 200-300$ of “commission” while making 200-300 dials a day. A lot of the time, it feels like school, it’s more a less a glorified internship. It’s a 5 day in office work week which is absurd for the type of job you’re doing, you’re dialing people on an application all day. They also track all your dials and you’re expected to make 200+ phone calls a day if you get no pick ups.

good entry level experience bad pay

      Pros

tons of people I’ve seen go through memoryblue and land killer jobs afterwards. good people who want you to succeed and there are tons of resources/enablement. I’d say it is a good place to start your sales career and teaches you all the basics about outreach/prospecting/follow up

      Cons

literal draw of the hand in which client you get put onto. You have no say in what campaign you get put on, some people are crushing it because they are put onto great campaigns that’s mostly inbound leads/webinars where if people show up it counts towards your quota. other people it’s damn near impossible to book meetings because the campaign/product is just so bad. crappy pay structure. your commission is put into a “memoryblue piggy bank” in which you can only access after 1.5 years of working there. yes, you do get small base pay bumps after your 3rd time hitting quota I think - but commission is put into that piggy bank that you can’t touch until after 1.5 years. If you leave earlier than that, too bad you don’t get any of that commission. also base pay is pretty damn abysmal.

      Pros

Great team culture in my team and you get out what you put in. If you do minimal activity don't expect to get good commission or pay rises. Benefits have improved a lot in the last 18 months.

      Cons

Sometimes good performance goes unrecognised, a very US focused business and EMEA seems to be getting forgotten on the global scale since the acquisition.

      Pros

Pretty decent training on the sales side, terrible on the product side. Great young culture. Great for building experience and learning how to conduct yourself in the professional world. The alumni network is very active and full of successful tech sales leaders,

      Cons

It's literally luck of the draw if you get on a good campaign. If you're on a good campaign life is good. You work normal hours, have a decent product to learn tech sales from, and will have a reasonable chance to hit quota. On the other hand, you could have a terrible campaign where you grind your butt off, working with a product that isn't even tech or even worse, a service, and still have no chance of hitting quota bc it's pretty standard across campaigns with no adjustment, if they do adjust they will prorate your already low quota & it won't count towards base increeses. The pay is too low. You are capped at a $500/mo. They tell you 1500, but 1000 of your commission isn't accessible until you hit 15mo on the job (made to get people to stay longer). You don't get access to health insurance until you've been here for 3mo. There are no incentives for going above quota. You work nearly every day of the year (Including Xmas eve & NYE}, in person, and they treat working from home like a carrot they dangle over your head. If you need experience and are struggling to get a job, this is a great place to get started. As much as it can suck, I would & have recommended the company to many friends and family. The culture makes up for a lot of what you miss in pay/benefits that would be pretty standard somewhere else & you truly learn a lot, and best of all, you are given room to fail.

Great opportunity to learn full-desk recruiting and client management. Often have SPIFF opportunities that lead to fun team things. Can make serious bread if you do well - overall, great place to break into staffing with a solid commission structure

      Cons

High highs and low lows - draw commission structure isn't ideal

      Pros

Great learning experience. Lots of like minded individuals in same steps as you and great to form connections with them and networking with your clients. Old comp plan was great. Learn the basics of sales so you can bring it back to your future jobs. Should only be seen as a stepping stone unless you wish to become a manager or director internally. Give you $3k to spend on a vacation of your choosing.

      Cons

No commission. New pay structure and unattainable quotas make it really difficult to make extra money or move up from $42,500 initial base. Very campaign based. Used to have an extra incentive if you did well enough you could go to an all expense paid for trip to Cancun called TOPS, I doubt they are bringing that back ever and it was a shame because they stopped it right before I was supposed to attend for first time.
