there's too much favoritism. my particular location was very clique-y. they would allow managers to show up late multiple times to their shifts, leave whenever they wanted with no reprocussions, but as soon as certain sales associates did it they'd get written up.

Promotion is a little obtuse. There are only off cadence promotions if they need to backfill a role but otherwise you may have to wait a long time if you dont get promoted on cycle. Anything below director doesnt get a yearly bonus

Amazing benefits the company training culture is great you have to vocalize it. Transfers are possible. You learn alot about how the business runs the product and you learn how to really utilize your skills. The brand teaches you so much about fashion and show to style customers. Seasonal wardrobe allotment is given.

If you get a micromanager or if you have a store manager that is very by the book and extreme policy driven you need to get out, the company is in its struggle or transition phase similar to what coach went through 6 years ago in 2018. Its a struggle conversion is off foot traffic is down brand, sales are hard so if you dont have a store manager who understands how retail in general works its tough to stay longer and grow since theyll base you off your performance you would be trying your best but they will block your growth based off sales etc even if you are the best in sales one or two bad weeks and its out specially if you have a narrow sighted strict store manager.

Management in my department is made up of strong and respectable leaders, benefits such as class pass and summer Fridays, overall positive work environment and balance with life outside of work
