Pros
- Tons of opportunities for movement and exploring different careers within the industry at a global scale. It's what you make of it.
- Arlington, VA office is lovely
- Great benefits, hybrid (3-days in office), very pet friendly (dog floor to bring your pup to work), product discounts up the whazoo, training opportunities, free coffee, snacks and fresh fruit daily, affordable (for the area) in-office cafeteria
- Nestle Nice reputation for a kind work culture that tries and keep people first as an approach to management
- I like my boss and my team especially getting to work at a global level with different Nestle markets which I dont think is common across NUSA
Cons
- A lot of internal transitions with limited knowledge management
- Experiences at Nestle can be variable by team, function, brand, manager, division pres. Big house of brands/different businesses
- Nestle going through a global layoffs and NUSA is not excluded. Unfortunately, where nationwide market is at right now.
- Leadership predominately consists of marketing and sales backgrounds and that is seen through which teams receive higher budgets for their work and recognition with broader audiences
- Last year's restructure is in the 1-year growing pains
