Pros
The regulars and your coworkers are the best part of having this job. Otherwise, it's an easy paycheck.
Cons
I have never been so terribly micromanaged in my entire life. This is apparently franchise dependent so, if you are applying for a Black Duck owned club, good luck. They stalk you on the cameras all shift, even after you clock out. Training is minimal, and you will need to learn very precise phone and tour scripts, both of which secret shoppers/callers WILL grade you harshly on. You'll receive little pay, low hours to justify not giving you a lunch and benefits, and constant criticism. No reward for good work but, heavens forbid you mess up. That work groupchat will be nothing but disapproval. The job itself is also physically demanding, as it's mainly cleaning, and you cannot sit down. The way they are running things right now is not sustainable, and I would not recommend working here for more than a few months.
