      One of the best reasons to work at Qantas is the flexibility it provides to its employees. This includes flexible working hours and options for remote work, which support a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, Qantas offers a supportive and inclusive work environment and excellent travel benefits,

      Despite its many strengths, Qantas does have some areas that could be improved. The salary range can be less competitive compared to industry standards, which may affect motivation and retention. Additionally, there seems to be a lack of opportunities for upward mobility or professional growth within certain departments, which can limit career development for ambitious professionals."

      My internship at Qantas was an incredibly valuable experience. I had so many opportunities to learn and grow, and I always felt genuinely supported throughout my time there. The level of care and encouragement I experienced is a true reflection of Qantas and its values. I absolutely loved being apart of the Qantas team!

      Shift work - 4am starts 11pm finishes Rotating rosters - work weekends/public holidays/Christmas etc. Very little room for career progression

      Usually fun and enthusiastic crews to work with, occasional international travel.

      Cons

      Very divided workforce with and emphasis on using third party labour hire, a broken system with seniority operating against staff that are not entitled to any form of seniority, career development nearly impossible, company routinely manufactures a crisis to justify periodic pay freezes/ pay cuts.
