What is paid time off like at Triage Staffing?

Employee events, commaradity among some teams but not across departments

Shift in culture no flexibility in schedule, no consistency among department schedules, shift in time off policy, no clear expectations. As well as removing tenure work and hybrid option from employees and yet posting remote jobs for management positions. If you are asking your support staff to be in office then so should the people that are managing them.

I can think of none.

In general the healthcare staffing industry is very unstable. Add in a manager who treats their employees like children and doesn’t trust them and you get the worst job I’ve ever had. As an adult who has been in the workforce for 20+ years I know how to handle myself in a professional manner. I have never been more micromanaged as I was in this position. So much backtracking on things that were promised upon being hired: work from home a few days a week, flexibility, unlimited PTO - all a joke. Manager constantly blamed mistakes on people who no longer work there, when these people left on their own accord.

Pay is good, facility is nice, unlimited PTO (unlike other reviewers, I have never been shamed for taking or refused PTO). The travelers we work with all seem pleased with their experience.

Over hired during COVID & having to downsize with some layoffs being performance based while others are a mystery as they were top performers, maybe salary driven layoffs? The new building is multiple floors separating divisions and departments so not a lot of cross socialization. Leadership was untouched and unaffected by any layoffs or salary adjustments and trust me some are useless

Long story short terrible decisions were made and many opportunities were missed. Now everyone is looking for another job (the ones who didn't get laid off or let go) Huge boom during covid= *huge work force *amazing parties *state of the art renovations *all time high morale But they never planned for what happens after covid normalization. Now it looks like this: * Work force decreased to pre merger numbers- volume of files and expectations are crazy * parties and events cut * renovations halted *"anonymous" surveys *Morale all time low *"keep grinding" "trust us" atmosphere with no evidence of actual support given At the end of the day, everyone is just a number. The culture is gone, any possibility of growth in the company is gone. But it's ok, there is free coffee in the break room, or maybe you can get a drink at the in office bar. That'll make up for it right? My hope is that the remaining people can find alternate employment where they are valued

No PTO Health insurance is very expensive if you're married, and you're required to pay the premium in between assignments You don't get paid for federal holidays (used to, but now they deduct your hourly, housing, and per diem for each day missed, even a holiday) Assignments are not guaranteed--you can go weeks without one
