What is paid time off like at UiPath?

Pros

-My teammates are smart, collaborative and fun to work with -Off my team, the people I work with are smart, creative, inclusive and determined - Exposure to what its like growing a tech company like this -Leadership that is approachable to provide ideas and feedback -amazing benefits, flexible schedule, WFH plus perks like free lunch, gym membership, unlimited PTO

Cons

-it can be frustrating at times because we don't move as fast as we could -the "storming" phase of new leadership over the course of the year has had an impact on the rest of team who feels lack of clarity on direction -my manager doesn't have enough time for me -there is an odd relationship between the US and Bucharest teams which produces some tension and weirdness but you figure out how to manage that

Advice to Management

There is always a lot going on and that won't ever stop. Please don't let that prevent you from focusing on your people. Make sure you give time to 1-1s, goal setting, reviews and team meetings. People don't leave jobs, they leave their managers.

Does UiPath offer massages?

Pros

Free breakfast and lunch, good coffee

Cons

This company confirms the saying: "too good to be true". They have no respect for their employees and they treat them worse than animals. People work overtime without any kind of compensation and if you do not work any ovt, then you are a bad employee. Work - Life balance is non-existent and unless you are a relative or a very good friend, then the risk of getting fired is very high, no matter what performances you have. Management is terrible, they have no people skills and they were put in those positions just because they knew the right people at C level. If you come up with ideas to improve or automate processes, you are immediately shut down - as an employee, you have no right to an opinion, you just need to execute.

Advice to Management

Stop treating employees as if they have no feelings and no life. Stop hiring overqualified people, just so you can fire them later. Attend management and people skills trainings, as you have no idea what this means.

Does UiPath offer a wellness program?

Pros

RPA and UiPath was/are super hot, tremendous growth, decent benefits, and they eventually provided equity.

Cons

Huge influx of VC funds effectively handed the direction of the company over to them. The growth strategy was not strategic and eventually the good olds boys club took over and from a sales perspective things changed for the worst and large layoffs were the demise of many smart and hard working folks.
