      Cons

I worked at Wex for under three years, as I started March 2023. In my time at Wex, there were 3 separate rounds of layoffs in the tech department. I survived the first two but was laid off on this last one. This comes on the back of being told that remaining QA would be given a path to become developers. I know many very skilled QA Engineers that were also included in this past round of layoffs. I was kept as an entry level position the entire time I was at Wex until they decided they were done with me. Ultimately it was a terrible experience and I would recommend anybody to reconsider working at this circus because it's only a matter of time before the CTO and his souless cronies burn the place down.

      Pros

It’s a job, you can work from home

      Cons

They keep adding work, then penalizing you for not completing it all right away. There is no formal training which for an entry level position makes it a steep learning curve. They don’t care about doing right by their employees and keep selling without investing in their infrastructure
