2.7 August Apparel interview questions

This company asked for a project/assessment prior to an interview with the hiring manager. This was through an outside recruiting agency. I knew this was a red flag, asking for an assessment prior to an interview with the hiring manger/company. I did the assessment, and they then decided to mention the role is solely for people who are bilingual, and have to speak Korean & English after the assessment was completed. How incredibly insulting, and a waste of my valuable time. How could you not know this prior to interviewing candidates?
