A highly unprofessional and disrespectful interview experience. I was told that each round is eliminatory. After completing 2 coding and 2 design rounds (which means all my rounds went well), the HR calls me to wish me luck for the last behavioural round. I gave that and then expected a positive feedback. After a couple of days, I get a call from the HR saying that though the feedback is mostly positive and design rounds have been very good, there were some red flags in the initial coding round and they would want to conduct an additional coding round. This was after 2-3 weeks after the last behavioural round was conducted.
Question - Why wasn’t it raised at that point?
On asking, I was told - The design rounds were good. We thought if they were exceptional, we would have overlooked the coding round.
The statement clearly contradicted what was told earlier. And there was an evident lack of clarity.
Also, then why was this not evaluated post the design round? Why did you keep the candidate in loop and conduct the behavioural round? Didn’t feel like there’s value of time of either the candidates or the employees.
Although I didn’t want to encourage such behaviour, since I had invested so much time and energy in the process, I agreed.
After giving the additional round, I received absolutely no further communication from the HR.
6sense boasts a lot about their culture but I had the worst experience with them. Would never encourage anyone to take a chance with this company! It’s a complete waste of time.
