I never heard of this company before. I foolishly applied for a job with this company without checking out the qualify of the management. Oddly enough, this is a privately held company which rates insurance companies. The VP I interviewed with was very unimpressive. She had been with the company for so long, she didn't even understand basic industry standard terms regarding technology which were in the job description. As a result, they selected a very unpopular technology platform first, and then expected someone knowledgeable to come in and manage this clustered mess. I went through several rounds of interviews and I couldn't find a single person there to be impressed by. But after interviewing with the VP, I was no longer interested in this job and this company. It was like little children made big important wrong decisions and then wanted an adult to come in and clean up the mess, which could have been entirely avoided to begin with. My interview with this VP seemed like I was offering free consulting, the way she continued to write down my answers as if I was the professor and she was a student. I never heard from them again. I was curious and found someone on Linkedin who they hired for this position who had such little experience, at best he might qualify as a good intern, not a manager. I suspected she hired him because he knows less than she does. While I didn't get an offer, I wouldn't have accepted it since HR wanted to pay less than my requirements and I was so unimpressed by this VP, I didn't even bother to follow-up.
