The interview process at A5 Labs consisted of three technical interviews and lasted for 1.5 months. The initial two interviews focused on technical questions and straightforward coding tasks. However, the first technical question was poorly formulated, while the second one involved another coding task. In the third interview, which was a "design" interview, I was presented with a system task related to user registration and asked to design a potential solution for the company. Despite providing a well-reasoned and proven solution, the interviewer seemed unfamiliar with it. The feedback I received contained inaccurate information that undermined my qualifications. This interview experience felt like a waste of time, and I suspect the company may be exploiting these interviews to gather free system designs. It would be advisable to steer clear of this opportunity.
