Interview
First, you will likely have one interview with the HR department. They will check your status and get to know you overall.
Then, based on which team you're applying for, you'll be interviewed in 1-2 rounds. The depth of technical discussions in interview will be variable based on your team and the interviewers, but generally, I found the interviews more technical in comparison with other company interviews. This might be because positions typically have a slightly research-based nature.
Great company, friendly people, professional and technical interviews.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions will begin by assessing your overall knowledge and reviewing your CV in depth. At each step, if there is a need for more technical explanations, you will be asked to provide them. Being aware of recent advancements in the research community related to the area is a plus.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at AIRY3D (Montreal, QC) in Feb 2019
Interview
* Friendly phone call with RH people
* Long and detail culture fit phone call with VP R&D (actually interesting talk)
* On site meetings with many team members (3 x 45 min : 2 people) it was technical (just enough and interesting)
* Excellent follow up and guidance along the process
The total interview process from the first contact to job offer took around only 1 month. Initial phone call with the HR was followed by a one-way Video interview. Then I was interviewed through Skype by the hiring manager and the team. After that, I was invited for an on-site interview where I was asked to give a presentation on a technical topic of my choice.
