I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2017
Interview
One round of mental math test. Another round of coding test. The test was easy and time limit is 2 hours, finished only in one hour. Passed all test cases available, but was told failing the test. Super upset about the hiring process. Seems like rejecting without telling true reason. Definitely not recommend of this company.
I was selected for numerical testing and then first interview. Basic competency based questions including machine learning and computer science. Focus on quantitative ability. Was a good experience overall with feedback.
Phone interview with expected value probability question. Interviewer is helpful and nice. Question was very unclear at first, so ended up messing it up, but interviewer was giving helpful hints.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Sydney) in Jun 2020
Interview
First stage was a quick maths and sequence test. Some of the questions got hard towards the end to answer quickly eg. 124x57. 2nd Stage was a coding challenge where they asked you to complete 3 coding questions in 1hr. I only managed to finish 1 and a half but still made it through to the phone interview which I have not completed yet.
