The interview process was 9 weeks long for me and 5 interviews. It was an on campus interview with my business school. Abbott dragged their feet with untimely interviews and stringed me along for over 9 weeks just to tell me the hiring team went in another direction. Undoubtably, the most unprofessional recruiting experience I’ve ever experienced. I am happy it ended up not working out because I would not want to work for a company that treats their interview candidates this way. Overall, I spent almost 3 hours in interviewing for this summer internship and waited 9 weeks to hear unfavorable news with no feedback or respect for my time, energy, and effort.
