I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Achievement First (Brooklyn, NY) in Nov 2017
Interview
Applicants apply online and answer a series of questions regarding the role of education and one's drive for teaching. Then, applicants are given an initial phone interview. Next, applicants go into a school and present a pre-fixed lesson plan to students, followed by a more formal interview. The interview process is rigorous because applicants arrive at 7:15 am, and do not leave until around 10:00 am. It is a full morning of meeting students, teachers, and staff members. While it was difficult, the entire staff is very welcoming and makes the entire process worth while!

Interview
The process is pretty straight forward application, phone interview, references, and demo lesson interview. The demo lesson was a video call due to the epidemic with the school principal, talent acquisition member, and 2 deans. During all exchange of contact they were very genuine and welcoming.
