Applied online. Was contacted by internal Adyen recruiter. Went on an online interview 1 week later with 2 people that were doing the job I applied for. Went for a second online interview a week later with another 2 people. Then I went on another online interview with the Head of the CDD department who was in her early twenties along with someone else who worked with her. I believed that the interviews all went well and answered dozens of questions thrown at me by 6 different people and after the last interview everything went very quiet and had to chase the internal recruiter via email on various occasions without success. I tried to ring the general Adyen Amsterdam office number on various occasions and was told every time that they were not allowed to pass messages on to internal collegues and I should keep emailing them!!?? Surprisingly one of the values that Adyen promotes is to pick up the phone and communicated directly with people instead of using social media.... I suppose that rule only applies if you work for Adyen and you are part of the inner circle, otherwise you are just left hanging. After giving up on any feedback from Adyen, I finally got a call from the internal recruiter and told me that I had not been successful in my job application because "I spoke too much"... Yes! I kid you not that was the reason I was provided with. Enough said! If you want to have constant interviews with many random people and wait weeks on end to find out where you stand you should apply to work for this "company" If you bother your self respect and do not enjoy wasting your time or that of others, stay well away from them. This whole interview process took place back in March of 2022 and we are in July and surprisingly they are still advertising for this position to be filled.... Am I surprised? No!
Good luck if you apply and remember, do not speak to much during the interviews as it is a one way conversation with these guys!
