So you first have an interview with HR recruiter, in which they ask you about your experience, some about motivation. They also ask you about the Adyen formula and expect you to say something about this. From my perspective they focus a lot about the one where you have to be direct. The interview with HR was ok. But then I had an interview with two young people from the Amsterdam office. They seemed a bit incompetent at recruiting, they were very passive and not actively engaging with you, almost like they don't really care. One tip here, make a lot of examples using the Adyen formula, its like their bible. What is even weirder to me is that they don't even follow their own scriptures. For example "we don't hide behind email, we call", they definitely hide behind email, also they're not as direct as they think they are. All in all, adyen seems like a company that focus less on skills and more on how hyped you are to work for Adyen and your impression of it. As some other reviews have mentioned, its giving cult vibes.
