Anonymous Employee in Addison, TX
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aerospace Quality Research and Development (Addison, TX) in Dec 2012
There were three interviews total. The first interview was with the General Manager. For this interview he basically gave me a detailed description of what the company does and what I would be doing for the first couple of years. The second interview was with the CEO of the company. This interview was the most difficult of the three, partly because it was a little intimidating and also he asked quite a few technical questions. The final interview was with the Sr. Engineer I would be working with. It felt like this interview was to see if he and I could get along and communicate our ideas to one another easily and efficiently. Everyone that I met was very nice and easy to get along with.
- The CEO asked me, "If I had to design a box that could withstand a compression force of 300 lbs how would I go about designing and testing the box to make sure it met the requirements." He then asked what material it would be and what size I thought it would be. This question was basically to get an understanding of how I would approach a problem.
